About me
Hi, I’m Krista - an authentic and down-to-earth Celebrant who brings the light-heartedness, the love, and maybe a few happy tears too.
Since 2010 I’ve been making things legally binding (you know… getting the government involved in your love story), and I still get goosebumps every time. I expertly craft wedding ceremonies that are full of heart, a little fun, and totally you.
So, who am I when I’m not signing marriage certificates and making magic happen on wedding days?
I’m married to my lovely husband Cam, mum to two gorgeous teens, and a big fan of slow mornings with a cup of Earl Grey. I love a good catch-up over a long brunch and winding down with a glass of Pinot Grigio in hand. I’ve ticked off 35 countries (most more than once), and while I love a fancy hotel, I’m just as happy off-grid, camping and glamping with my family.
You’ll find me watching rom-coms one night and spy thrillers the next. My heart belongs to Spandau Ballet, but Spotify thinks I’m a deep house/Chet Faker kind of girl (it’s not wrong).
Before Celebrant life, I was a high school drama teacher, and yep, I’ve had the absolute joy of marrying quite a few of my former students. I’ve also worked in event management, so when I say I’ve seen it all, I mean it, but I still tear up when the music starts, and someone walks down the aisle.
I’m the Celebrant your guests will rave about, your mum will love, and your best mate will want to be friends with.
